Using Hixville Book Box
Use Hixville lawfully and respectfully. Do not misuse QR codes, impersonate another Box owner or author, interfere with the service, submit knowingly false reports, or use Hixville to harm another person or property.
Accounts
Finding a Book Box does not require an account. Other Hixville features require a regular free account, and certain author tools require an active paid Author Subscription. You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for keeping private activation codes private.
Book Boxes and locations
Only register or manage a Book Box when you are authorized to do so. Placement, construction, property permission, local requirements, maintenance, and the contents of a physical Book Box remain the responsibility of the applicable Box owner or property owner.
Books and community content
Users are responsible for the books, notes, photos, profile information, links, and other content they contribute. Hixville may remove or restrict content or activity that is abusive, misleading, unlawful, unsafe, or inconsistent with operation of the community.
Purchases and subscriptions
Shop purchases and paid subscriptions are processed through the checkout information shown at the time of purchase. Recurring Author Subscriptions continue at the stated recurring price plus applicable tax until canceled according to the available billing controls.
Service availability
Hixville may update, improve, suspend, or discontinue features as the service develops. Community-submitted location, status, and journey information may not always be complete or current.
